Hi there! I’m Brian Love, a passionate and driven Location Manager and Scout, based in Los Angeles. I’m also a proud, active member of the Local 399 Teamster union. My journey in the entertainment industry began when I earned my Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Producing from Columbia University in 2013. During my time there, I was honored to receive the prestigious Entertainment Partners Best Producer Award at the 26th Columbia University Film Festival for my graduation film, Southwest, which was also nominated for a Student Academy Award.
My career has been an exciting and diverse adventure, where I’ve had the privilege of wearing many hats. From working as an Associate Producer at Turner Broadcasting, to diving into the creative and editorial side for several media outlets, to supporting legendary producer Art Linson as his Executive Assistant, each role has shaped me into the well-rounded professional I am today.
Currently, I’m thriving in my role as a Location Manager and Scout, where I get to combine my love for storytelling with the logistics of filmmaking. I’ve had the pleasure of scouting and managing locations for acclaimed television shows and films such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, Westworld, and 20th Century Women.
With a deep love for genre films and a solid foundation in production, I am always excited to bring my creativity, knowledge, and collaborative spirit to every project. I look forward to the next opportunity where I can contribute my unique skill set and continue to be a part of this incredible industry!
